He is survived by: his children, Carl Hoover, Jr. (Angela Alley) of Swansea, SC, David Hoover of West Columbia, SC, Melodie Turner of West Columbia, SC and Susan Contreras of Topeka, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Lauren Turner of Jefferson, GA, Gabriel Hoover and Avery Hoover of Swansea, SC.
