Lambert Sr. of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lambert and Janice Byrdic Lambert; his stepmother Faye; his son Michael Brandon Lambert; and his sister Trudy Lambert.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Tyson Lambert; his son Derrell A. Lambert Jr. (Kerry Howard); his stepson J. D. Gable III; his daughter-in-law Christie Johnson Lambert; his grandsons, Clayton, Christopher, Liam, Brennon and Kade; and his brothers, Edwin (Karen), Bruce (Cindy), Craig (Gloria), Perry and Richards (Alena).
