He was predeceased by: his mother Harryette Denny Addison; and his brother Jonathan Denny Gwyn. He is survived by: his wife Betty Peele Gwyn; his children, Candace Gwyn Edwards (Robby) and Matthew Barrington Gwyn (Matt); his grandchildren, Madison Schumacher Yarbrough (Austin) and Emily Moore Edwards; his great grandchildren, Ryker William Lutz and Easton James Yarbrough; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Gwyn, Brenda Peele Turner and Dennis Peele; and his close friend Donna Zeigler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
