“Mrs. Doris was my next-door neighbor & our family loved her. She was always praying, watching TV or listening to her gospel CDs. She had such a fighting spirit, spending hours at Dominion hearings to be heard. In her journal notes, she predicted exactly the 12% increase Dominion Energy is asking for! I will always remember our debates about the bible, life & how God is always in control. I'm sad she has passed, but I know she is HOME with her Lord Jesus & no longer suffering. Love you so much.”

“Doris was our Angel in our time of need. She took care of my parents, Helen and Woody Weed, at Forest Pines Retirement Home in Columbia, SC. Doris was with my mother once going through her bible, and Doris saw an obituary of Kate Williams. We came to know that we were both related to her. Doris stayed in touch with us after my parents passing, and John and I visited her this past April and were grateful that we had that time with her. Will miss her! LU”
