She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurie Adolphus Hair and Lucy Allen Laird; her husband James Mooney, Jr.; and her grandson Brian Joye. She is survived by: her children, Brenda M. Joye (Jeff), Steven M. Mooney (Renee) and Timothy D. Mooney (Deanna); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Mooney (Jennifer), Daniel Mooney, Joshua Mooney (Ashton), Melissa Damour (Ben), Jason Joye (Heather), Jill Sadle (Jack) and Sara Antognioni (Kevin). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Congaree Baptist Church (101 Pine Ridge Dr, West Columbia, SC 29172). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clothing With Blessings Ministry at Congaree Baptist Church.
