With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edna Armstrong Johnson of West Columbia, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ray Armstrong and Elise Ferguson Armstrong Yungk; and her daughter Leah Robbins Hastings. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Germanoff of Summerville, SC, Tani Cuthrell (Steve) of Callahan, FL, Wendy Tipps of Goose Creek, SC, Sarah Wincek of Minneapolis, MN and Carye Bye of Pittsburgh, PA; and her siblings, Gayle Edenfield (Bill) of Charleston, SC and Robert Yungk. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel (232 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC 29401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
