She was predeceased by : her parents, Morris Bates and Mabel Bates; her husband Harold Rice; and her brothers, Harold Bates and Hugh Bates.
She is survived by : her sister Jane Burr of Texas; her children, Aaron Rice (Sarah) of West Columbia and Nancy McCrae (Larry) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Zachary (Jenna), Conner, Hunter, Lauren (Stephen) and Jordan (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Anna Leigh, Waylon and Beau. She is also survived by her family and friends.
