She was predeceased by: her father John Varn; her husband L. T. Chavis; her son Loyd Chavis; and her siblings, David Varn, Melvin Varn and Margaret Chavis.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Chavis (Renee) of North, SC; her sister Lilly Chavis (Morris); her grandchildren, Brian Chavis (Michelle) and Felicia Chavis (Matthew); and her great grandchild Taylor Chavis. She is also survived by her family and friends.
