He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Edwards and Sarah Edwards; his wife Dianna Lucas Edwards; his siblings, Harold Ransom Edwards, Jr., Robert Stephen Edwards and Sylvia Jean Edwards; and his niece Laura Elizabeth Koon.

He is survived by : his son Christopher Scott Edwards of Blythewood, SC; and his daughter-in-law Marilyn Fox Edwards.
