He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis Sue Dotson; his parents, Ruth Dotson and Rufus Dotson; his brother Larry Dotson; his children, Suzanne Hook (Robert), Franklin Dotson Jr. (Bonnie) and Patricia Shippee (Steve); his grandchildren, Michael Hook Jr. (Jessica), Jeffrey Sigley, Jr. (Emily), Meredith Abel (Luke), Nicholas Hook West Columbia and Katelyn Hudson (Graylon); his great grandchildren, Keira Roberson, Jace Sigley and Parrish Sigley; and his pet Charlie.
