She was predeceased by : her husband Billy Burke Thomason; her parents, Jim James Sims and Mattie Gertrude Williams Sims; her children, Phil Thomason and Libby Neibel; and her sisters, Julia Collins and Willie Jane Craddock.

She is survived by : her children, Lynn Sealey (Dennis) and Ronald Owens; and her grandchildren, Josh Sealey (Kansas), Sarah Bishop (Maverick), Danielle Casper (Curtis), Dana Thomason, Donavon Thomason (Christy), Micheal Owens, Sabrina Owens, Kenny Baldwin (Janet), Tim Baldwin (Debbie), Tracy McClain (Mark) and Christopher Neibel. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
