It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Thomas Caughman (West Columbia, South Carolina), born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jacqueline leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Jessi Farr. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bozy" Caughman; her sons, Gary Caughman and Craig Caughman (Tiffini); her granddaughter Emily Howell (Brent); her great grandchild Duke Howell; and her sister Patsy Hare. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saluda River Baptist Church in her honor.
