As James Durham departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Durham. Though James Durham may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Durham Hendrix and Grace Bush Hendrix (Leslie Racicot). He is survived by: his sister Susan Hendrix Gantt (Charles) of Lexington; his nephew Christopher Gantt of Savannah, GA; his niece Shawna Gantt Jordan (Brian) of Gilbert; and his former wife Helen Hendrix of Kentucky.
