It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kearse of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roscoe Shealy and Hazel Lee Shealy; her husband William "Hump" Cauthen; her son Bobby Ard; and her siblings, Sandra Lucas and Ronnie Shealy.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Ard (Hope) of West Columbia and Jody Ard of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Bradley Farley, William "Will" Ard, Ava Ard, Cody LaRocque (Lindsay) and Ryan Dixon (Lexus); and her great grandchild Lilly Dixon.
