We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, John Ira Byrd Jr. of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Helen Stone and John Ira; and his sister Kaye Byrd Helstowski (Debbie). He is survived by: his wife Norma Wood Byrd; his daughter Laura Byrd Bagwell; his grandsons, Brandon Bagwell and Thomas Bagwell (Tierney); his brother Joel Williaim (Billy); his nephew Marcus Helstowski; and his close friend George Richardson (Corky).
