We bid farewell to Joyce Whitaker of West Columbia, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Franklin Whitaker of West Columbia, SC; her parents, Pete Kelley and Belle Spoon Kelley; and her siblings, Jim Kelley, Frank Kelley, Bill Kelley, Elizabeth Kelley, Mildred Louise Kelley, Joan Kelley and Jean Kelley.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Whitaker (Angela) and F. Jason Whitaker; her grandchildren, Sgt. Marc Whitaker (Destiny), Mitchell Whitaker, Shane Whitaker and Salem Whitaker; and her great grandchildren, Izrael Anthony Whitaker and Azula Skye Whitaker.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West View Cemetery (301-399 W South Broad St, Walhalla, SC 29691).
