She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Roberts, Sr. and Lillian Lee Roberts; her sons, Lee Campbell, Jr. and Melvin R. Campbell; her son-in-law Charlie Sowell; and her brothers, William C. Roberts, Jr., Ronald E. Roberts, Elmer Lee Roberts and Melvin R. Roberts.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Kinard; her daughter Renee C. Sowell (Charlie) of Irmo; her brothers, Emerson Roberts (June) and Wylie "Buddy" A. Roberts (Linda) of Lexington, SC; and her grandchildren, Shannon Boxberger, Carla Adams of Silver Lake, Jess Sowell and Charlie Sowell of Lexington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Platt Springs United Methodist Church in Betty's honor.
