She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend John Edward and Lillie Alberta Taylor, Sr.; her husband Lester E. Knox, Sr.; her brother John Edward Taylor, Jr.; and her grandchildren, John Toma Knox and Jacquelyn Knox (Jackie).
She is survived by: her sons, Lester Earl Knox, Jr. and John Michael Knox; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Knox of Columbia, Martha Hucks of Charleston and Macy Taylor of Leesville; her daughter Sheryl; her son-in-law Scott Rymer of West Columbia; and her grandchildren, April Busbee (Cory) of Gaston, Heather Fogle (Dustin) of Lexington, Sheila Thompson (Donny) of West Columbia, Jeremy Knox of Greer, Elizabeth Knox of Greer and Charlie Knox of Greer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and many she "called" her sons and daughters.
