He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lawrence and Rosa Mae Bowman; and his siblings, Mildred Simmons, Lloyd Lawrence, Virginia Mizelle, Sophie House, Rachael Suis, Nelie Gray White and Jimmy Lawrence.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marty Cox (Sandy) of Elizabethtown, PA. and Susan Jones (Danny) of West Columbia, SC.
