He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sallie Pearl Golson; his wife Rita Golson; his son David Micheal Golson; his stepdaughter Hannah Holland; his stepgrandchild Madison; his stepson Leon Holland; his daughter Crystal; his brother Raymond Golson (Patricia); and his sibling's children, Shawn and Raeven Golson.
