He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie McLaughlin and Mertie McLaughlin; his significant other Delores Todd McLaughlin; and his siblings, Roy, Gene McLaughlin, Eloise Hornsby, Jackie Goff, Lucy Chavis, Dale Smoak, Charles Ray McLaughlin and Darlene McLaughlin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Parker (Tracy), Sherry Greer (Dusty) and Mikell Martin (Bryan); his grandchildren, Amanda Parker (Lauren), Dylan Parker (Anna), Casey Parker (Amber), Will Martin (Faith), Bryanna Brazier (Joe), Michaela Martin (Shelby), Austin Greer (Ashlyn), Gracie Martin (Dakota) and Alexis Greer (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Alivyia Brazier, Mae Parker, Ada Parker, Sophie Sharpe, Beau Martin, Alaynna Brazier and Lily-Rose Greer.
