It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Rice Duvall of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Lawton Rice and Annie Harleston Warren Rice; her former husband Charles; her brother David Lawton Rice (Grace) of Asheville, NC; her children, Ann Duvall Barwick (Daniel) of Columbia, SC, Charles Farmer Duvall, Jr. (Ellyn) of Raleigh, NC and Theodore Wannamaker Duvall (Katherine) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Barwick, David Barwick, Benjamin Duvall, Samuel Duvall, Beverly Duvall Bowers and Anne Lawton Duvall. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
