With sadness, we share the passing of Patricia Way of West Columbia, South Carolina. Patricia, born on May 28, 1957, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Patricia for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Izeal Garrett, Sr. and Annie Sue Collier Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lee Way, Sr.; and her children, Jimmy Lee Way, Jr. (Chambree), Nikki Lakisha Way and Brittany Way Richardson (Sam). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers, and six sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pearson's Funeral Home (4508 N Main St, Columbia, SC 29203). The lying in state was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (1804 Wilkinson St, Cayce, SC 29033). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
