Smith of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Cornelius, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wooten Smith and Veda Sharpe Smith; his wife Rita D Smith; his son Rick Walsh; and his sister Barbara Collum.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Smith (Lisa) of Lexington, SC, Bart Smith (Lori) of Christiansburg, VA and Robin Walsh of Lexington, SC; his daughter-in-law Melanie Walsh of Gastonia, NC.; his grandchildren, Tripp Smith (Julianne), Parker Smith (Anna Addy), Morgan Smith, Drew Smith, Whitney Cliff (Ryan), Emily McClintock (Jamie), Clara Walsh and Victoria Walsh; and his great grandchildren, Sloan, Beckett Cliff and Evie Smith.
