He was predeceased by: his daughter Olivia Vaughn; and his father Bobby C. Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Connie M. Vaughn; his sons, Matthew Vaughn (Lindsay) and Clayton Vaughn (Jamie); his son-in-law Brad Vaughn; his mother Freddie Brown Vaughn; his sister Laurie Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Aydan, Addison, Beckham, Hudson, Conner, Cooper and Emily.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Three Oaks Hospice, 101 Westpark Blvd, Suite B, Columbia, South Carolina 29210.
