She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis Carter and Ruby Beatrice Rabon Carter; her husband Robert Arrington (Bob); her sister Ann Mummey; her brother-in-law Bob Mummey; her brother John Lewis "Butch" Carter; and her son-in-law Billy Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Lannette Davis Vicky Mills (Randy) and Brenda Sealy (Chad); her grandchildren, Amber, Trent, Rachel, Michaela, Carter and Alexis; and her brother Donald Carter (Ann). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
