Solomon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Solomon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Solomon will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jones and Susie Corine Daniels. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Jones, Nekia Jones, Sheila Chambers and Latoyia Shante Jones; and his siblings, Willie Jones, Calvin Jones, Douglas Jones, Larry Jones, Billy Chestnut and Karen Mills. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1908 Wilkinson St, Cayce, SC 29033). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
