He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton McLendon and Leonda McLendon; and his children, Thomas E. McLendon, Jr., Amanda M. McLemore and Brian McLendon.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie R. McLendon; his brother Charles McLendon of Tampa, FL; his children-in-law, Cecilia McLendon of West Columbia, Cher McLendon of Myrtle Beach and Scott McLemore of West Columbia; and his grandchildren, Thomas "Trey" E. McLendon, III (Krissy) of Miami, FL, Jack Thomas McLemore and Lilly McLendon.
