With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Earl Long of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 45. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Russell, Myrtle Long, Bill, Mary Shaffer, Donald and Lorita Thomas.
He is survived by: his parents, Nancy Shaffer Daniel and Ralph Sr.; his siblings, Ralph Long, Jr. (Tiffany) and Audrey Jacobs (Kevin); and his siblings' children, Jacob Long, Charli and Miller Jacobs. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to organizations supporting Multiple Sclerosis, Cystic Fibrosis, and Mental Health, all of which were important to William.
