He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Franklin and Laura Alice Moorefield Dunn; his wife Ann Rose Chapman; his daughter Evelyn Dunn Newman; his son-in-law Scott of West Columbia, SC; his son William Harley; his daughter-in-law Julieann Dockery Dunn of Simpsonville, SC; and his grandchildren, William Eric Dunn, Sara and Scott Hampton Newman, Jr.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
