It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Tate Pelfrey (West Union, South Carolina), who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Avery and Mary Jane Midkiff Tate; and her siblings, Valnie Tate Cook, Vercie Tate Dulaney, Ellis Tate, Marlie Tate, Wilford Tate, Sanford Tate, Quillen Tate and Darrel Tate.
She is survived by: her husband James Chuck Pelfrey; her children, Mark Edward Orr (Maquita), Lisa Orr Biggers, Peggy Sue Pelfrey, Annette Burrell and Melissa Kay Mueller (Kevin); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Moss (Cody), Hannah Kerr (Cameron), Zach Biggers (Emilie), Trey Burrell (Laurie), Devon Hodge (Daniel) and Crais Mueller; and her great grandchildren, McKenzie Moss, Logan Moss, Colton Moss, Lucas Moss, Presley Jane Kerr, Charlie Kerr and Hank Burrell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bernice's Home.
