She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Avery and Mary Jane Midkiff Tate; and her siblings, Valnie Tate Cook, Vercie Tate Dulaney, Ellis Tate, Marlie Tate, Wilford Tate, Sanford Tate, Quillen Tate and Darrel Tate.
She is survived by: her husband James Chuck Pelfrey; her children, Mark Edward Orr (Maquita), Lisa Orr Biggers, Peggy Sue Pelfrey, Annette Burrell and Melissa Kay Mueller (Kevin); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Moss (Cody), Hannah Kerr (Cameron), Zach Biggers (Emilie), Trey Burrell (Laurie), Devon Hodge (Daniel), Crais Mueller, Matthew Norris (Stephanie) and Stephanie Gonzalez (Jessie); and her great grandchildren, McKenzie Moss, Logan Moss, Colton Moss, Lucas Moss, Presley Jane Kerr, Charlie Kerr, Hank Burrell, Mikaela Norris, Alyson Norris, Preston Norris, Phillip Cox, Trey Gonzales and Gio Gonzales. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
