In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Buford leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Buford may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Jayne Pilkinton; and his parents, Morris B. Pilkinton and Tiny Elizabeth Wilson Pilkinton. He is survived by: his children, Susan Pirkle (Vance) of Seneca, SC, Orrin Pilkinton (Melanie) of McRae, GA and Stephen Pilkinton (Cindy) of McRae, GA; and his siblings, Terry Pilkinton (Kathy) of Sycamore, GA and Gloria Jean Cameron (Billy Ray) of Sycamore, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
