He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce H. Gardner and William Nelson Gardner; his son Gabriel Nelson Gardner (Heather); and his brother Jerry Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his son Scott Gardner (Mandy); his grandchildren, Russell Gardner (Samantha), Allie Wheeler (Cory), Savannah Gardner, Canaan Voss, Connor Voss and Lawton Voss; his great grandchildren, MJ Gardner and Blakeley Wheeler; and his siblings, Sharon Kimrey (Mike), Jeff Gardner (Teresa), Scottie Gardner and Chris Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
