He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray Emerson and Dorothy Mae Smith Emerson; and his aunts, Inez Smith Cates, Bessie Smith Edmonds and Gladys Francis Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Timmey Ray Emerson, Jr. and Danny Lee Emerson; his brother Kem Jefferson Emerson (Regina); and his sibling's children, Jeffrey Thomas Emerson, Joseph Andrew Emerson, Josh Emerson, Jacob Emerson, Kadi-Jo Emerson, Emily Shelton and Erin Shelton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Hepsibah Baptist Church (409 S Friendship Rd, Seneca, SC 29678).
