With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecil George Swafford (Westminster, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gervis Swafford and Ethel Webb Swafford; and his siblings, Jim Swafford, Martin Swafford and Pauline Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Lee Swafford; his sons, Ray Swafford, Gervis Swafford, Josh Swafford, Cecil Webb (Tammy) and David Richard Webb (Sherry); his siblings, Samuel "Buck" Swafford (Patricia), Glenn Swafford (Gay), Mildred Moore, Hazel Orr (Dennis) and Judy Webb (Albert); his grandchildren, Cayden Webb, William Webb and Makayla Hyde (Valeria); and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Hyde, Samuel Hyde and Toby Hyde. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
