She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl D. Clifton Maxie and Gloria Medina Huerta Maxie; and her sister Debbie Burton. She is survived by : her husband James Douglas "Doug" Jones, Sr.; her children, James "Jamie" Douglas Jones, Jr. (Jenny) of Westminster and Amanda Renee Goss (Matthew) of Piedmont; her siblings, Steve Maxie, Terry Buckallew, Linda McCoy and Bonnie Poland; her grandchildren, Austyn Jones (Cally), Patrick Jones, Jalyssa Jones, Kayetlin Jones, Lyla Stewart, Jack Jones, Genavieve Goss and Logan Goss; and her great grandchildren, Kendsley, Blair, Jutt, Westyn and Baylee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dottie's memory may be made to the City of Westminster Recreational Department, PO Box 399, Westminster, SC 29693 or to a church of one's choice.
