She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Richard Smith; her parents, Jesse Christopher Lyle and Mary Irene Petty Lyle; her daughter Doris Faye Smith; and her siblings, Willis "Bud" Lyle, Mary Lou Lyle, Hazel Lee, Juanita Lyle, Earline Brucke and Ruby Culp.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Smith (Nancy) of Travelers Rest and Roger Smith of Westminster; and her sisters, Louise Kelley, Ruth Blackwell and Jane McClain. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
