He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank N. Ruh and Gertrude Cole Ruh; his wife Carol Hewitt Ruh; his sisters, Mary Riley and Cathy Burnside; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Riley and Bob Burnside.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Ruh (Jamie), Linda Eshelman (Chuck Austin), Karen Rutledge (Drew), Chris Ruh (Jennifer), Michelle Wilson (Mike) and Maureen Crisp (Craig); and his grandchildren, Michael Ruh (Dana), Melissa Ruh, Brian Eshelman, Steve Eshelman (Megan Koster), Brent Hovis (Lynn), Kevin Hovis (Alyson), Jackson Ruh, Parker Ruh, Brad Wilson (Megan), Jake Wilson (Krysten Massey), Brittany Black (Will) and Taylor Crisp (Chandler Sloan). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and a few nieces and nephews.
