He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Thomas Smith and Ruby Estelle Smith; and his siblings, David Smith, Donald Smith, Jack Smith, Milton Smith, Samille Barnes and Shirley Crooks.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Lou Smith; his children, Delano Smith (Debra) of Westminster, Thomas Smith (Lisa) of Westminster, Frank G. Smith, Jr. (Angie) of Westminster and Merita McRae (Don) of Westminster; and his siblings, Johnny Smith (Edna), Cecil Barker, Dorothy Duncan and Beulah Buchanan (Donny). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
