Janice leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janice’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her mother Margery King Williams; her husband Joel "Nick" Nichols; and her brother Larry Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Joel Jeffrey Nichols (Maria) of Huntersville, NC and Michael Horace Nichols (Andrea) of Fort Mill, SC; her grandsons, Ryan, Matthew, Owen and Wesley; and her sister Beverly (Conrad).
Memorials may be made in her name to Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Winthrop University Scholarship Fund, or the American Heart Association.
