It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lyn Wooten of Westminster, South Carolina, born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wesley and Velma Irene Henry Wooten; and his brothers, James Wooten, Douglas Wooten, Gary Wooten, Tony Wooten and Terry Wooten.

He is survived by : his wife Theresa Fretwell; his children, Joseph "Dean" Fretwell of Westminster and Anika Wooten (Andrew Fant) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Patrick Ridley of California, Dalton Presley of Westminster, Senoanna Fant of Westminster and Scarlett O'Dell of California; and his siblings, Jackie Wooten (Renee) of Mountain Rest, SC, Charlie Rochester (Angie) of Seneca and Gail Blackwell (Sidney) of Westminster.
