She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Mitchell Gibson; her parents, Dank Carline and Lula Smith Lewallen; her daughters, Sharon Dockins and Kathy Whaley; her siblings, Marjorie Grubbs, Frances Stiarwalt, Eugene Lewallen, Haskell Lewallen and Earlton Lewallen; and her grandson Christopher Canipe.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Parson (Michael); her grandchildren, Sherri Turner (Chris), Jason Dockins (Tara), Chasity Miles, Kayla Miles and Daniel Day; her great grandchildren, Chloe Turner, Carson Turner, Peyton Savage and Logan Miles; her brother Grady Lewallen (Phyllis); and her pet Lori.
