It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Grant Massey (Westminster, South Carolina), born in Townville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Daniel and Ethel Leathers Grant; and her siblings, James, Thad, Wes, Ott, Preston Grant, Ralph, Reece Broome, Junie King, Zelma Donald, Macie Mize, Sue Skelton, Margie Ballew, Elsie Holtzclaw, Bernice Cheek and Sarah Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Sherian Robinson (Joe), Myra Mueller (Chad) and Barry Massey (Sonja); her grandchildren, Matthew Lathrop (Corry), Andrew Robinson (Denise), Justin Robinson (Chrissy) and Hannah Frost (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Brooks Robinson, Megan Smith, Walker Lathrop, Jake Ryan Robinson, Ava Grace Lathrop Elrod, Reese Robinson, Tessa Robinson and Paisley Robinson; and her great great grandchild Jensen Robinson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
