With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Duncan Ashley of Westminster, South Carolina, born in Mountain Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by : her husband Paul Edwin Ashley; her parents, Jess Duncan and Ruby Beaty Duncan; her daughter Valerie Ashley; and her brothers, Harold Duncan, Horace Duncan and Bruce Duncan.

She is survived by : her children, Pam Roberts (Eddie) of West Union, SC, Phillip Ashley (Maggie) of Mountain Rest, SC and Amanda Jones (Kyle) of Walhalla, SC; her sisters, Joanne Cox of Myrtle Beach, SC and Iris Duncan (Dink) of Mountain Rest, SC; her grandchildren, Josh Roberts (Emily) of Walhalla, SC, Steven Roberts (Kelly) of Maryland, Bryan Ashley (Taylor) of Colorado, Stephanie Price (Tyler) of Greer, Eric Dardis (Damaris) of Easley, SC, Hunter Findley (Brittany) of Texas and Cade Jones of Walhalla; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Harper, Barrett, Paul, Luke and Ella.
