He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Cobb and Ida Mae Burton Cobb; and his siblings, Bill Cobb and Stella Mae Pelfrey. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Viola Pelfrey Cobb; his children, Cathelene Morris (Edward), Gwen Thompson (Maurice), Tim Cobb (Connie) and Virginia Triplett; his brother Sam Cobb; his grandchildren, Megan (Matt), Paige (Austin), Brandy (Adam), Bridget, Matthew (Kaylee), Adam (Karly), Caleb and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Sarah Kate, Mary Paige, Annie, Juda, Violet, Lexi (Presley), Paisha, Ava, Killian, Macklan, Sadie, Alyssa, Eli, Wyatt, Landon and Viola Mae; and his great great grandchildren, Weston, Sutton, Kolsen and Josephine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Holly Spring Baptist Church Cemetery (11001 Long Creek Hwy, Westminster, SC 29693).
