He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Buff Sheriff; his children, Todd Sheriff of Seneca, Tina Sheriff Middleton (Chuck) of West Union, Timothy "Tim" Sheriff (Anna) of West Union and Terry Sheriff of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Rob Middleton (Sara), Britton Middleton Bideau (Paul), Parker Sheriff (Kansas), Olivia Hope Sheriff, Andy Sheriff and Emmie Sheriff; his great grandchildren, Charlie Middleton and James Middleton; and his siblings, Hoyt "Ed" Sheriff (Martha) of Westminster, Scoot Sheriff (Linda) of Westminster, Lynn K. Sheriff (Louise) of Walhalla and Marsh Ann Sheriff of Westminster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
