We are sad to announce that, on July 17, 2019, at the age of 60, Richard Allen Perkins (Westminster, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee Perkins and Elizabeth Sterling Perkins Mauney. He is survived by: his uncles, J. T. Sterling (Florence) and Boyce Sterling (Libby); his aunt Julia Perkins; his stepsiblings, Brenda Ladd (Ronnie), Becky Williams (Eugene) and Mike Mauney (Colleen); and his cousins, Marcia Godwin (Ed), Mike Sterling (Robin), Wayne Senn, Anna Winard, Doug Sterling, Diane Kline, Linda Hardy, Laura Dalles and Bridget Stafford.

Allen was a dedicated Shriner, and in lieu of flowers would have wished that memorials be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

“We went to Wade Hampton with Allen and I have fond memories of all the times my husband and I went bowling, and to dinner, with him and a bunch of friends when we were in our 20s. Sadly, as people move, and lives become busy, you lose touch. We didn't get to see him very much throughout the years and we were very sad to hear of his passing. We hold everyone in prayer.
