With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Jake Barnett of Westminster, South Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Albert "Ab" and Elesie Prater Barnett. He is survived by: his children, Phillip Barnett (Cathy) of Great Falls, SC and Amanda Barnett (Joey) of Seneca, SC; his grandchildren, Katelin Wilson, Brookelyn Barnes and Travis Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Meadow Wilson, Kaleigh Gregory and Halen Gregory.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard's memory to Lakeview Nursing Home, 320 Camp Rd., Walhalla, SC 29691.
