He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Hare and Claudell Spencer Hare; his wife Myra Rogers Hare; and his grandson Scotty Smith. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Hare (Debbie) of Newton, N. C., Ivy Lynn Smith (Freddy) of Westminster, S. C., Ladone Hare of Westminster, S. C. and Gina Martin (Randall) of Westminster, S. C.; his sister Alice Owens; and his grandchildren, Thomas Hare (Katie), Carrie Withers (Will), Brent Smith (Tracy), Bradley Smith (Kayla), Harris Martin (Brittany) and Amanda Smith.
