He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lanning of Walhalla, Bradley Batson (Emily) of Greenville, Carrie Lanning White (Keith) of Westminster and Harriett Lanning Thomas; his grandchildren, Dustin Brian White, Daniel Wallace White, Dalton Keith White, John Austin Lanning, Katie Hall, Tommy Batson, Cody Thomas and Casey Thomas; his great grandchildren, John Wallace White and Evelyn Janie White; and his siblings, William Walter Lanning (Sandra) of Westminster, Howard Tracy Lanning (Tammy) of Westminster and Peggy Ann Dermer (Mark) of Anderson.
A reception was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Residence (150 Gray Court Rd, Westminster, SC 29693).
